Studying at the University of Vigo

The International Relations Office (ORI) of the Universidade de Vigo shall send an acceptance letter and an information package to the e-mail of every exchange student, as soon as they receive the following documentation (that has to be sent by fax: +34 986 813 819 or e-mail: ori1@uvigo.es by the student's university of origin, to confirm his status as an exchange student within the framework of our cooperation or Erasmus agreements):

Deadlines for receiving an application form:

  • For annual stays or for the 1st semester: 30th June.
  • For stays during the 2nd semester: 30th November.

Content of the information package:

  • Arrival form (optional) (in order to be collected by a Spanish student at the airport, train or bus station in Vigo, Ourense and Pontevedra)
  • Academic calendar
  • Information about accomodation
  • Information on our Spanish and Galician courses for exchange students during the academic year
  • List of the persons in charge of international relations in every centre
  • Tourist information about Vigo, Ourense and Pontevedra.

In order to solve academic issues, students should contact the persons-in-charge of international relations at the respective University of Vigo centres.

Students should speak in advance with their academic director (at the University of origin) to decide on subjects to take at the University of Vigo. Equivalence between subjects will be resolved with the University of origin prior to establishing contact with the Manager for International Relations at the University of Vigo.
