Please contact also the ERASMUS-departmental coordinatorMatthias Schuler.

Housing

As an ERASMUS-student you can apply at the Studentenwerk of the University Duisburg-Essen for a room in a student hall of residence. The Studentenwerk runs 15 halls of residence in Duisburg and Essen. Most of the rooms are furnished and the rent includes electricity, water and heating. Please send the housing application form to the following address:

Studentenwerk Duisburg-Essen
Reckhammerweg 1

A timely application is absolutely necessary in order to reserve a room!

On the application form you can choose whether you want to apply for a room in Duisburg or Essen. As nearly all courses of the Institute of Political Science - apart from teacher training courses - are taught in Duisburg we would recommend you to opt for a room in Duisburg. Please indicate on the application form that you are an ERASMUS-student.
