What should I do if I wish to make a study stay at the Rovira i Virgili University?

As soon as your university has agreed that you can come to the URV as an exchange student, you should do the following steps:

Step 1

On-line registration

Admission deadlines:
First semester: 15 June 2012
Second semester: 15 November 2012

IMPORTANT! Before registering, prepare all the documents you have to attach. The documents you need will depend on your country of origin.

EU students:

- Scanned copy of your identity card or passport.
- Scanned copy of your European Health Card (compulsory) and a copy of your accident insurance policy (recommended).
- A colour passport photograph.

- Learning agreement with the subjects you wish to study in the URV, signed by you and signed and stamped by your home university (check further information in Step 2). 

*The URV takes the safety of students very seriously. We recommend that you take out accident insurance to cover the period of your stay. We can recommend a reasonably priced policy, please contact hosting@urv.cat .

 

Students from outside the EU (including students from Turkey and Croatia):

- Scanned copy of your passport.
- Scanned copy of your accident insurance policy.
- A colour passport photograph.

- Learning agreement with the subjects you wish to study in the URV, signed by you and signed and stamped by your home university (check further information in Step 2).

ID/Passport: Please bear in mind that the number you give here will identify you throughout your stay. It doesn’t matter if you decide to use your identity card number or your passport number, but make sure you use the same one all the time! The number you write in your Application Form will be the number we use for your registration at our University!

Step 2

Learning Agreement

 

Choose the subjects that you wish to study at the URV with the help of the academic coordinator at your university and fill in the Learning Agreement

Check the subjects available and if you have any doubts about your course, get in touch with us at mobility@urv.cat.

How to formalize your Learning Agreement:

  1. Fill in the Learning Agreement template.
  2. Print the document in three copies.
  3. Sign it and ask the academic coordinator at your home university to sign it and stamp it too.
  4. Bring the three signed copies to the International Center when you arrive to URV.

IMPORTANT: Do not forget to bringTHREE COPIES of your Learning Agreement, signed and stamped by your university, when you come to the URV, so that your coordinator at the URV can sign them.

Step 3

ArrivalOnce you have registered as an exchange student, and a few weeks before you arrive, you have to fill the Arrival Form with information about your arrival and send it to mobility@urv.cat. Meanwhile, we recommend you to read the Student Mobility Guide.

Step 4

The International Center team will ask you to join one of our welcome meetings before the semester begins. Once we have received your Arrival Form (Step 3) we will send you an appointment by e-mail. Do not forget to check your e-mails account frequently!
