The University of Eastern Finland will open the application round for student exchange for the autumn semester 2013 and the full academic year 2013-2014 on 1 March 2013. Coordinators at partner universities are asked to nominate their candidates for student exchange at UEF by sending an e-mail to International Mobility Services.  After that, International Mobility Services will create usernames and send them to the students by e-mail. Then applicants can log in to the system and fill in the online application.

The nomination e-mail should be sent to international@uef.fi by 15 April and the nomination should include the following information:

1. Student's complete name 
2. Date of birth
3. Gender
4. E-mail address
5. Duration of exchange (autumn semester, spring semester or full academic year)
6. Campus choice (Joensuu, Kuopio, Savonlinna)

Please note that the online application tool is available for the autumn semester 2013 and the full academic year 2013-2014 between 1 March and 30 April. It is not possible to nominate or to apply after the deadlines.  Late nominations and applications will be considered for the spring semester 2014 only.

If there are students wish to come to Joensuu campus for one semester only, we encourage you to nominate them preferably for the spring semester. This is due to a challenging housing situation in Joensuu at the beginning of the autumn semester.
