📝 Application & Nomination

Partner institutions are kindly asked to send student nominations via email to:
📧 erasmus@gazi.edu.tr

📅 Nomination Deadlines:

• Fall Semester: May 1st – June 20th
• Spring Semester: October 1st – November 20th

📄 Application Forms of Erasmus Incoming Students

After the nomination is confirmed, incoming Erasmus+ students are required to complete and submit the necessary application forms, including:

• Application Form
• Scanned copy of your passport (photo page)
• Learnin Agreement for Studies or Traineeships 

📧 All documents should be sent via email to: erasmus@gazi.edu.tr before the relevant deadlines.

🏠 Accommodation

Gazi University does not provide dormitory facilities for incoming Erasmus+ students. Students are advised to:

• Search for private dormitories near the faculty location.
• Consider shared apartments through reliable local rental platforms.

👫 Buddy System

Our Buddy Program helps international students adapt to life in Ankara and Gazi University. Each Erasmus student is matched with a local student who provides support with arrival, orientation, and everyday needs.

🏥 Gazi Hospital

• Faculties: Faculty of Medicine (https://med.gazi.edu.tr/)

🏥 Emek District

📄 Residence Permit for Stay Over 90 Days Students staying more than 90 days in Türkiye must apply for a residence permit.

📝 Required documents (after arrival):

• Passport (original + copy)
• Visa (if applicable)
• Biometric photo (4 copies)
• Student certificate (you will receive from our office)
• Residence Permit Student Registration Application Form (Must be Signed)
• Address declaration form (can be filled once accommodation is secured)
• Valid health insurance obtained from a Turkish insurance company ⚠️ (IMPORTANT: Residence permit is NOT granted if your insurance is from abroad.)
